This article marks the official 100th article on The Blogington! Never would I have imagined when I started this project in 2009 that I'd reach 100 articles. This whole thing started on just an idea to pass some time after graduating college.

Love is in the air! February 14 is Valentine's Day and people everywhere are showing their love for their significant others by buying $4 cards that have mass produced messages. Nonetheless, always spend the money for a good card, otherwise you'll end up with one of these.

Neon signs spark our curiosity and interest. The more bright lights in an area, the better (see, Vegas. Las Vegas). The help us see at night when we otherwise might not be able. However, neon signs are a double-edged sword and you have to make sure ALL the bulbs are working otherwise situations like this will happen.

February 2 is Groundhog Day in the U.S. and Canada. In case you're unfamiliar with the holiday, when a groundhog emerges from his burrow and sees his shadow, there will be 6 more weeks of winter. If he doesn't, then spring is coming early. While his prediction may be right sometimes, here are some predictions that people have said that were really, really wrong. Nostradamus my ass.

Let's face it, texting is the new way to communicate with people. Hardly anyone picks up a phone anymore. Even parents are texting now. The new year is about to start and New Year's Eve is one of the most widely celebrated events across the world. Not everyone tunes in to watch Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest, much to my chagrin; Dick Clark is awesome and it's not officially the New Year until you see him. Other parts of the world have their own version of the "ball dropping" and others have completely different customs.

Usually starting in December, families tend to have meet-and-greets with good ol' St. Nick. While most of the Santas in malls and stores are good upstanding citizens, there are a few Santas our there that make us wonder if any background checks were performed on them before they interacted with children. Maybe they like children on their laps? We don't know really. Either way, hope everyone has a very merry Christmas.

We love celebrities. We can't get enough of them. They make us smile, cry, and laugh. Get ready to really laugh at them this time though because we get to see them at their most vulnerable, or at the very least, we get to see them at their most drunk.

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and families all across the nation will travel to meet with relatives and friends for the yearly feast. One of the first things they will see is coming to a house is the welcome mat on the front door. So this year, why not spice it up and make yourself the cool one in your family with these funny welcome mats?

The economy sucks. Finding a job is hard. But one should never give up hope in landing that dream job. Even if you have a job, there's a good chance that if you're reading this at work, you aren't being productive.
