Dinosaurs have been a fascination of children and adults alike for generations. Dinosaurs surged in popularity following the film Jurassic Parkand its sequels. It’s just a damn shame that they went extinct 65 million years ago. If they had survived to this day, there would certainly be some that would be kept as pets. Which ones? Here are 3 that we wish we had as pets.
1.) Tyrannosaurus Rex

Fetch boy!
Who wouldn’t want their own Tyrannosaurus Rex? Just imagine taking it for a walk. How awesome would that be? It would become a bigger craze that having chihuahuas in woman’s purses. No one would ever go in your backyard or in your house to steal your stuff ever again. You could also enter you new pal in T-Rex shows, showing off its ability to eat multiple creatures in a single bite and jump through hoops. T-Rex also makes a great fetching partner.
2.) Compsognathus

Compsognathus, also known as “Compys,” were one of the smallest dinosaurs to roam the Earth. They were about 3 feet long and weighed no heavier than 6 or 7 pounds. You could carry them around in your purse if you really wanted (instead of Chihuahuas). There is no doubt that men would use these little guys to pick up women, similar to how they use babies. Since Compys ate lizards, outdoor and household pests would be eliminated. Compys would just be cool to have. It’d be almost like having a pocket T-Rex.
3.) Microraptor

Microraptors are even smaller than Compys. They had feathers and almost resembled birds. Just think about it – your very own passenger pigeon, but hell of a lot cooler. Listen to this conversation.
Timmy: “Hey guys, I got a cool new pet.”
Billy: “Oh wow, did your parents finally let you get a puppy?”
Timmy: “Nope, even better than that!”
Johnny: “A ferret?”
Timmy: “No, even better than that.”
Billy: “Just tell us already!”
Timmy: “Fine. I got a fucking microraptor!”
Billy & Johnny: “WOW!”
If that doesn’t make you want one, I don’t know what will.
