Mascots are usually the human embodiment of a brand. It is a way for everyone to connect with a brand in their own way through the mascot. As we all know though, sometimes mascots for brands just don't make sense. Other times, the mascot makes us not want to buy the brand because the mascot is well...a little creepy.

The 2009 NFL season is just around the corner, and with that, comes fantasy football drafts. Fantasy football is THE fantasy sport. A time for people to gather and debate and for one person to get bragging rights for the rest of the year. Many a dream have been made, and destroyed, during fantasy football drafts.

The decline in the global economy has caused many companies to collapse and declare bankruptcy - see: Circuit City, Lehman Brothers, and Washington Mutual. Other companies have not only survived the economy, but continue to grow and rake in the billions.

Previously, I remarked on a few things that annoy me about Facebook. This time around, I'm going at MySpace. MySpace was one of the first social networking sites launched, and was, for a period of time, the number 1 network (today it is number #2) When Facebook launched shortly after, many people made the switch and have never looked back.

Throughout human history, there have been countless inventions that have changed the way we live and think about the world. The wheel, the formation of steel, the automobile and the television are examples of these life changing inventions. Today, technology is progressing so fast that something new today will be obsolete tomorrow.

You're either on Facebook, or you know someone that is on it. What once started as a cool alternative to MySpace that was open only to college students has exploded into the number 1 social networking site, surpassing MySpace and fending off up and coming Twitter. With the floodgates open, some very serious no-no's were crossed. These are the type of things that can annoy you and even make you think about wanting to quit Facebook (although it'll never happen, because you check it everyday).

Sometimes the worst thing about growing up is having to deal with your evil sibling(s). For the older one, it's a chance to impart wisdom and advice over the younger...or to ruin things for the younger one when they become older. For the younger one, it's a chance to show up the older sibling and defeat them in a battle for parental love. However, on occasion, there have been some sibling combinations that have done pretty well for themselves.
